I graduated cum laude in BSc Physiotherapy from the University of the Witwatersrand, after earning a place on the Dean's Merit List in every year of study. I'm currently completing my community service year at Cecilia Makiwane Regional Hospital in East London.
Competitive swimming shaped how I practise. I know what it feels like to train through something, to lose a season, and to want a straight answer about when you'll be back. That's what I try to give every person on my table: a clear diagnosis, a plan you understand, and honest timelines.
From January 2027 I'll be consulting from Physios in Touch in Rivonia — practising independently, with the support of an established multidisciplinary team around me.
How a course of treatment works

Assessment
A thorough subjective and physical assessment, looking past where it hurts to what might be driving it.

Explanation
You leave the first session knowing what we think is going on, and roughly how long it'll take to settle.

Treatment
Hands-on manual therapy, dry needling and exercise, adjusted session to session as you respond.

Return
A graded programme back to sport, work or daily life — with the strength to keep it from happening again.

Clinical placements and community service across Johannesburg, Limpopo and the Eastern Cape — from intensive care to the rugby sideline.
Sports physiotherapy
Pitch-side injury management, rehabilitation and return-to-play protocols with a high-performance junior squad.
Orthopaedics
Upper and lower limb fractures, spinal and pelvic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and functional mobility training.
Outpatients
A broad musculoskeletal and sports caseload, including post-operative and chronic conditions.
Cardiorespiratory & ICU
Respiratory physiotherapy and early mobilisation in a 10-bed ICU, including ventilated and high-flow oxygen patients.
Neurology & paediatrics
Rehabilitation after stroke and spinal cord injury, and participation-based care for children with cerebral palsy and developmental delay.

From 1 January 2027, I consult from the Physios in Touch rooms in Rivonia — an established practice with a full gym, treatment rooms and a multidisciplinary team on site.
